Yoga
I teach classic Hatha yoga. Each class varies; where one class may be still, quiet and contemplative holding the asanas (postures) longer, another may integrate more fluid movement with the breath helping you flow from one pose to the next.
I strive to teach a well balanced class that incorporates stillness and movement, touching on all nagging areas of tension in the body. Each class includes strengthening and lengthening while always focusing on the breath to gently guiding you back to the moment and connect mind and body.
I also teach restorative yoga which is good for individuals dealing with high stress. It is for people with injuries or that need simple movement in the body. I use props to help support the body, so you can open the body with ease helping to shift the nervous system to the resting state which the body is able to heal itself.
